Käsespätzle (see photo) was delicious.... The food is fresh and handmade. No frozen food that gets warmed up at this place. Authentic German food dishes as well as a few traditional American items.

Had a wonderful experience eating here. The food is fresh, well presented, authentic, and full of flavor. The owners are amazing people who are very passionate and knowledgeable about their craft. They are warm and welcoming and you end up feeling like you are at home. I came during the lunch period and started with the soup of the day, a delicious creamy mushroom onion soup. I then had the Currywurst and fries without a doubt I thought I was back on the streets of Berlin. The fries were well seasoned and crispy while still being soft on the inside and having a good potato flavor. The currywurst was amazing, the bratwurst had a great flavor, and the sauce was addicting leaving you wanting more. I finished with a frikadeller, the fresh made bun was terrific, the juicy patty, krout, and mustard brought everything together. I was very impressed with the cooking and left satisfied. 10/10 will come back again.

Absolutely hands down one of the greatest dining experiences in green country. Everything about the restaurant and service was above and beyond excellent. The atmosphere, the staff, and the food were all 10/10. Very well worth the drive from wherever you are! Enjoy!

Best Jagerschnitzel I have had in years. Schnitzel part better than Margret's! Wish it came with two sides but the schnitzel takes up whole plate!!!! Waitress very nice & kind & a nice touch with her percent German accent. The atmosphere is fine inside it's just small and would like to see them have a bigger place where more people could enjoy their amazing food!!!!

Don’t let the outside fool you. They are working to beautify the exterior however it doesn’t change the excellence of the food inside. We enjoyed a beautiful and tasty meal with a few German beers on tap. Highly suggest checking out their FB page for specials and hours as they may vary.

Beer is delicious. Home type feeling. Great seasoning every meat. The Pony Coffee Shop was so rich of espresso flavor. I am cyclist and the first thing I like to do is get my cup of espresso before my ride. I was very pleased and you can’t compare this to Starbucks. I did research around all coffee shops and so glad I came in at 6:30 A.M. You see atmosphere outside their door. This is the Main Street in downtown where all runners and cyclists pass through to go to the Riverside Trails. It’s been years since I tasted Coffee that good. After, I headed to Osage Trail. The trail is in the woods and passes through a few neighborhoods, streets and bridges. Yes I did see homeless and trash on the side of the trail but the more you head up north that stops because of the ranchers and cattle farms. And yes I suggest a body with you and get there at sunrise or afternoon only because of the neighborhood you pass through . Plenty of shade because of the trees and you see all types of birds and deers. Which I saw jumping in front of me. Squirrels, possums etc….. For lunch this hidden gem was a such a great experience with the meal I had. Don’t forget your mug of beer on the side. Best I ever had.
